No matter who should replace the current Awdal governor, but enough is enough and Awdal residents will be better off with any one who has some sense of responsibility.
Because the existing Tarrant Awdal Governor is out of control and he is using a power which he has no legitimacy for. He is also behaving the way seventeen centuries American Cowboys used to settle their differences.
The Wild West Cowboys behavior that this man has so far flaunted in Awdal reaches beyond the judgment that any civilise human being who lives in a stable country such as Somaliland can think of, and people of Awdal should not put up such behaviour while the rest of the country enjoy normal system of governing.

This governor is in the office less than two months and he has ordered more arrests than the number of arrests that the former governor who earned the nick name of Sharon for his straight talking nature has been alleged for, during his lengthily time in the Office.
It is beyond the comprehension of anyone with functioning brain why this governor has chose to act the way he is acting while the opposition parties are still recovering from their electoral defeat.
We are all aware that nationally the two Opposition Parties Udub and Ucid are sill in a state of political disarray and the both mentioned Parties have no ability to cause any political hazards for the new government at present time. So we can not suggest that political panic has ignited the aggravated governor’s behaviour but what is clear is that his arrogance and lack of political management has caused his unprecedented behaviour that made him to imprison the opposition members and other dignifying citizens.
No one should be spare from appropriate punishment if the peace and tranquillity of the nation are in danger, however this time the new Awdal governor Mahamed Daahir Abbdalle is the villain character in Awdal who needs to be dealt with.
The new governor has not only scandalised the very basic of democracy which is freedom of speech but he is a bad apple who has no place of responsibility in a peaceful and civilise nation such as Somaliland.
His Excellency President Siilanyo should step in what is going on in Awdal. The election has passed the country peacefully but it seems the small electoral damage that the members of Kulmiye Awdal have experienced during the election campaign has generated political animosity and is not healthy.
The bottom line is. According to Kulmiy’s ellection manifesto we suppose to have more encouragement for freedom of speech. The president and the high Kulmiye officials also have promised to give people of Somaliland more flexible way of expressing themselves and as the other regions in the country people of Awdal are trying to practice their share of the freedom of speech that Kulmiye has promised for the nation.
They may also establish their first independent Radios and TVs if they have the chance, but how on earth that the dream of the people can progress when this sort of individual is in charge.
People of Awdal are already feeling letdown by Kulmiye's government and this man’s behaviour is challenging the patience of the people. So on behalf of the good people of Awdal I call upon president Siilaanyo to remove this man from the office, he shall not remain in the position of authority any longer because the more he stay in power, is the more many innocent people will suffer with injustice.
